First VW - Polo GTI

Just thought I'd drop a quick post. I'm new to these forums and will be hanging around for some time.
I took delivery of my 2012 Polo GTI yesterday and already 200km on the clock from last night

So much fun to drive.

Welcome to the boards! I've been lurking for a while but finally registered as my Polo GTI is only about a month away now! This looks great, I really like the Shadow blue - did you get any additional factory options?

I've ordered a Candy white with roof and xenons - very excited!

ah awesome! I couldn't imagine what its like to wait for an ordered one.
To be honest, this thing was sitting in the lot and it was the colour I wanted so I grabbed it as it was.
It has the touch screen in it and GTI door linings. I missed out on the Xenon's though and the sunroof (which would have been how I would have ordered it), but getting this below list price drive away 2 days after I test drove it out-weighed the con's of not having the other options imo.

Apparently a 4 month wait.

Love the colour, I don't think you will miss the sunroof and I reckon you could fiddle around with lights yourself.
I had to wait for 2 months for my GTD and it was m u r d e r r r!

Thanks, yeah imo best colour out. I'm keen for cruises for sure.

Hah, yep. I literally test drove this, applied for finance the next day, and picked it up the day after. And those were the longest 3 days of my life.
No idea how you didn't neck yourself.

I have a couple very mild ideas for some tuning and personalisation. But other than that, it will stay mostly stock.
