haha Geoff, the only dodge is for that 3 months you had no 3rd party insurance.

thats why WA Main roads make you license straight away, and even get temporary permits to move it around to get in inspected etc

The SA plates were in my name though although you might have been right about 3rd party. I prob should have swapped them straight away and then claimed the 3 mths rego refund.

interesting - I know that the other states won'y let you licence the car in their state unless you have an address in that state
