Even in Manual mode if your in the wrong gear and floor it it drops automatic.... I have the same engine as the R in my GTI and in drive it is suggish but thats not all bad...
I have max Tq come in at 3000rpm 481nm was atw when it was dyno'd.

im hearin' ya but sometimes you don't wanna floor it..... you might just wanna pick a gap in the traffic without causing too much commotion and I find it is easier to do that using the paddles than waiting for / initiating the kickdown if that makes sense.
How many killerwasps came out of the dyno with your stage 2 and other mods?
Just be careful with dyno figures as they're a good relative comparison on same dyno/day/conditions. Difficult to compare one dyno result to another as they all seem to measure different - either they're not all calibrated to the same standard or they're measuring slightly different things (axle/tyre/2wd/4wd/etc).
There's a few good threads where there's been dyno days and results for a range of cars/tunes/mods all run on the same day. Makes for some interesting reading and much more valuable info for decision making than comparing one dyno result with another.
