Welcome. Sounds like you've got some plans for your Roc.

I like where you're going with your title - though I think we need to define this on a scale for the level of modding to put things in perspective:

    no mods (0)
    minor mods (1-2 mods)
    slightly modded (3-4 mods)
    somewhat modded (5-6 mods)
    moderately modded (7-8 mods)
    above average modded (9-10 mods)
    highly modded (11-12 mods)
    extreme modded (13-14 mods)
    completely nuts (15+)

Just so you know where you stand, once you've put the next couple of bits on you'll be up to the "somewhat modded" level

      Welcome to VWW mate!

Would it be you who is a member of the HRC SA Facebook group (mainly Focus guys)? If so, I reckon I've seen you about. 'Roc looks the goods!

Definitely interested to hear how you go with the Quaife. Something I've been considering myself, on and off.

        Cheers Adam..
Are you a member too? Have you got a GTi? MK?
Yeah, well I've paid for the Quaife and am waiting for shipping from the UK, but the diff bearings are on back order so waiting for them before sending.. Getting Graham West Motorsport to install it at this stage, unless any recommendations of any LSD installs on VW's in Adelaide...

Any recommendations on where to source KW suspension parts?

Interested in seeing this car around!

Chris Preen, TPR Engineering, does KW gear and provided some good comments to me in relation to suspension. Check the forum sponsors section.

Yeah, I've been on a couple of cruises with the Focus guys. Nothing in the last few months; been flat out busy over summer unfortunately. Gonna have to come along to one soon. I have a Mk6 GTI.

You used to have a Mk5 Pirelli stage 2, IIRC?

Thanks for the info Dutch77 , checked out their webpages, looks like I'll be getting in touch once I've finished with the LSD install which is coming from the UK soon.

Had the Quaife LSD installed in the Roc today along with VWR lower subframe mount (bogbone). Just got it back today and have fallen back in love. Feels so much more sturdy with the mount and the diff works wonders, literally sucks you into the corner as you accelerate. Well chuffed.

Have got VWR lowering springs on the way. Decided to hold off on the KW DCC. Bit pricey for now.

Hey DUB, I'll PM you my area..

Just fitted some smoked red rear LED's, and quite impressed with the quality... they aren't quite as "christmasy" as the pic suggests (LEDs dont photo well). These are the SMOKED RED and when off, look way better than the red stock ones (and Im usually not one for aftermarket tail lights AT ALL).

Sorry for the blurry pic. VWR lowering springs arrived today too!!!!

so today I removed my SOUNDAKTOR from the the Roc. Went for a quick drive.. main things I noticed were the Akrapovic sounded much less boomy, overall in car sounds seem quieter. Got a bit of a vibration sound, not sure if this is just after changing my lower subframe mount.. will put the soundaktor back in after 1 week without it and then recompare.. so far much happier with in car noise..
