QLD Jetta 147 - Picking up today

Hi everyone, picking up my demo (10 month old) Jetta 147 2012 model today so thought I would register with some like minded people.

I have traded in my Civic Type-R 2010 model for this car wanting a bit more luxury but still some performance. I loved the fact that the Jetta was similar to the Golf in performance characteristics but was a 4 door and a bit more anonymous looking. I love the Golf GTI/R and Scirocco but wanted a change after my Civic hatchback. The Jetta is White with a sunroof. I hope to post some pics and details soon.

Picked up the vehicle today. The car was pretty much all ready for me when I arrived. The salesman was excellent although I had not really asked for much or done too much haggling with him so he had a pretty easy job. They had me all sorted and out the door with the car in around 45 minutes which was good considering the heat today and I missed the traffic.

The only niggle really is the fitted satnav unit which is a zenec. I already knew that and it is a nice unit. On the way home however a few times the volume faded out and in and seemed to stop working with the steering controls. When I got home I reset the unit, it seems okay now but need another long drive which I plan on doing tomorrow. I will post result in a different post if there is an issue. Also the MFD has not been flashed for the sat nav so no MFD display for the satnav. I have sent a query on this as well so maybe they will be able to srt this out.

Other than those 2 small issues I am stoked with my purchase and looking forward to putting some k's on her.

Update: Already received a call from the salesman fist thing this morning on the 2 issues I sent an email to them last night about. Had the installer call me before 9am and all is being sorted out with no problems next week at my convenience. What nice people to deal with.
