Just joined so thought I'd better say hello.
Owned a MK 5 GTI for the last 12mths and love it.
Bit of a rough idol so took it into VW Village last week, dodgy injector on cyl 2 so need to get that sorted.
Also said the turbo diverted valve was playing up so needed a new one of those. Car was producing the standard 1.5bar but the ecu was asking for 2.4. When I asked why that was he said it must have had an upgrade at some point but wouldn't know until the valve was replaced.
And yup it had! I thought it went well before, now it's ballistic!
Mechanic seems to think its a Giac stage 1 tune, whatever it is, I like it. A lot!
