First post to the forum.

Used to own a Mk2 GTI in the UK many years ago and loved it.

Always wanted to get an R32 - then they stopped making them.

Bought an R early last year - fantastic car !!!

Went 3dr with DSG in United Grey - understated, but great to drive ! Wish I'd gone for ACC though - can be a little harsh on some of Victoria's not-so-well-maintained highways !!!

Be warned, if you attend some of the Melbourne meets you'll be pushed and shoved to get a Tune.

Ha - yeah - I already picked that up from some of the threads.

I've resisted the temptation to take my car to a track day - don't think I could afford the replacement costs for all the parts I'd burn !!!

Plus your insurance doesn't hate a Reflash as much as a Track Day.

Yeah - but my warranty might hate both !!!

Currently shopping around for extended warranty - although most of the dealer contacts in the forum are now out of date.
