Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    2006 multivan T5 Comfortine with no radio

    I have just purchased a 2006 multivan T5 Comfortline that has no radio in it whatsoever.
    I would like to find a unit to fit, was looking at the rns510 however it has round corners and therefore will not suit the space. I would like to find something that offers cd, dvd, gps, bluetooth, ipod, reversing camera, mp3/mp4, sd card, etc. Does anyone know what would be an option here as I am in need of assistance please!!

    Welcome aboard.

    Sounds like the radio would've been removed when new, at the request of the owner at the time. Don't ask why, but it does happen.

    A member on here has successfully fitted an RNS510 from a Touareg (square corners, push-in fitment), but it required a CAN-bus emulator, and a few other things to get it to work. Have a look in the Transporter section. I think the topic has been pinned at the top.

    There are other options on the market that offer all sorts of features. The trick is finding something that has that OEM feel to it.
