Hi All! - VW Newbie!

Hi All,

I'm new to VW having recently bought my first Golf, a 2005 2.0 FSi Sportline. Even though it's an older model, I'm very impressed.

I like to have a tinker myself, and have a number of items I need to fix, but will do some searching and possibly post some threads for assistance.

Welcome Grant! I have a couple of 2005 2.0s in the family - one a Sportline and the other a Comfortline - and they're great cars. Is yours a manual or auto?

Hi Adam, thanks for your replay! .....it's a manual.

I do have a number of issues - aircon not cold, needs 120k service (Cambelt, water pump etc), need to replace the radio antenna, possible engine or transmission mount issue. Should keep me quiet for a while investigating and fixing those!

Sounds like you do have a bit to do. Hopefully no major troubles though!
