Hi guys and girls, I am currently looking at a Polo GTI for my wife, I drive a Hilux for work and race an Mitsubishi EVO IX so will be interesting to see how the little Polo performs.

Definitely a good buy, but they have been known to have gearbox issues if you're buying the new ones with the 7 Speed DSG. If you're up for something that is basically bullet proof, grab the earlier Manual ones.Driver Motorsport Tuned | Melbourne Car Meets | Insta: @VLNTVADERR -
We currently have a DSG A3 that has been good, I never drive it though. The Polo will be driven by my wife 99% of the time and she just toddles around town.
Issues that I've read about so far are the oil consumption problem, has this been rectified with current model ? is the 7 speed DSG problematic when toddled around town ?Comment
