My buddy BFLAT introduced me to this forum after purchasing a 2011 GTI.

Anyhow, this is my 2nd VW. The first was a 1998 Jetta TDI I drove from Dec 2004 - Aug 2009. It didn't have working AC and I was in college, down in Florida, too broke to fix it. But it was an awesome car.
So since then I've been driving a Nissan Altima (4cyl auto.) Until the head gasket blew and it was too much hassle to replace. I wanted a 6-speed anyhow and got to shopping around.
After driving a Sentra SE-R spec V, Mazda Speed3, Dodge Dart and a handful of others, I was sold on the speed3 until, at the last second, I found a GTI near by. And it was awesome.
So here I am. Hoping to learn a bit here and finally have a use for the Tapatalk app again!
