  • Hopefully bringing a 118 Tiguan Home :)

    Hey guys,

My name is Rakesh and I'm a 17 year old L plater from VIC. My parents bought a brand new Mitsubishi ASX last year and it served us well. Recently, I hinted that we could trade it in for a Tiguan from our local dealership.

We went there today and did some talk about trade in value and so on.. Signs look good but since mums asx was an auto and the 118 doesn't come in DSG form, it's my only worry at the moment. Hopefully she will be willing to learn how to drive a stick.

Anyway, my hope is that once I do attain my P plates, I can take over ownership of the tig. But for now, I'll just be another driver.

I have a great interest cars so naturally, I've been doing heaps of research into some possible modifications to the car. I plan to make a thread with a few questions soon.

That's my introduction done, hoping that the sale does go on, and I will become and active member in the VWWC forums

Cheers mate! I'll need it! haha

It isn't going so well as a start, but I'm sure once the car matures a little, they'll be more open. But I'd be ecstatic with a Tig in general.
