hi my name is pali, and my girl (hayley) is the new owner of a 97 polo 1.6L, and not by choice. its a long story, but basicly we got given this car in replacement of her last car which was loaned out without her full consent after it got pulled apart for no reason by some silly people who made some silly decisions when there was nothing wrong with it.
the car comes from a friend of a friend who owns a car dealership for $750 unregistered. the car was given to us registered with a pro cut and polish for zero cost. this car was his "run-around car" and i believe for the price, the condition and its use it had was for a reason, it was obviously a trade in that needed more money spent on it, than what he woulda got back on it after selling it.
since receiving this never cared for, un loved, neglected polo 4 weeks ago, i have dedicated 3 days and around 40+ hrs of work on these 3 days since receiving it to try and get its condition to atleast 95% were it was 55% when we got it.
i have logged every part that was replaced with its price and everything that has been tweaked/fixed/removed, so i will share every bit of info i have, because no one will ever understand what ive been through to get it where it is, and i might find some appreciation on here lol i will just post away and hopefuly find some interest. if you got this far thanks for reading.
