Bonjour!
Well I've finally made it in, after being banned on application for having a French car no doubt!
Abit about me: I've been around the modifiers scene for 12 odd years, tried it all and have 5 years experience as a Concourse Detailer working with Brisbane's supercar companies (Audi,BMW, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Fiat, Alfa). Not in that line of work now however.
About the car: I'm sure a few of you have seen it around, a 206 GTI 180, built by EMS (2005 German racewars winner). I'll list some of the mods done however not how they were done
Power is up from 130hp to 147 at the treads, running on OZ Racing Ultras and track semi slicks, stopping on Brembos and EBC red, slotted larger rotors, Quaife diff, Phillips HiD ballasts, AST sportline 1s, AST solid camber tops, adjustable castor rods, all rubbers changed. Hand made exhaust, k&n pipe n filter, EMS dyno tuned computer and most importantly an iPod cable wired into the stock stereo
pretty stock really...
See you all at the track
, Matt.
