Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC Soon to be Tiguan Owner

    Hello All,

    Thought I should start my Tiguan journey by reading up and signing up for the forums.
    The wife has decided that the old 2002 Ford Falcon will no longer be sufficient, and as of last Saturday, we are now awaiting delivery of a:
    2013 Candy White Tiguan Pacific with Leather optioned in, and the dealer informs me that the DSG will come standard too.

    Looking forward to a long and reliable journey in this vehicle, as the Ford has left it big shoes to fill.

    Hey congratulations on your new purchase. That's interesting to hear that the Pacific is coming with 7speed DSG now instead of the 6 speed auto.

      Thats what I thought too, and still with the same extras, and the same price.
      Downside is the wait is quoted at 6 months.
