Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi and greetings from South Africa.

    Been browsing these forums for quite a while and thought it's time I join the discussions so I registered as a member. I own a red 2011 Polo 6R GTI and is loving it. The car is just over a year old with a few minor mods here and there.

    Those JDM look foglights look pretty sweet. Are they legal over there in SA? Unfortunately, they're not in Victoria but we still have a few people using them.

        Yes those are the stock fog light with Lamin-X film applied. Not exactly sure how legal they are but yet to have any issues with the law.

        PS: Yes I am from Johannesburg.

          I am from Johannesburg as well,where I bought my 1st ever VW,a new Jetta 2.

          Since then ,I have had another 3 Jettas,1 more in SA,one in USA,and 1 in Melbourne...
