Not bad for a FWD with traction issues

Looking forward to seeing what your Ed pulls on the dyno now.

              Fark!

It's probably close to 5 dead when you consider the lead-in that the G-tech gives you - it doesn't start timing until you've moved a few feet - but that's still pretty damn epic. The best repeatable launches I've managed have been in the mid 5s, and they're not easy to achieve.

Funny you mention that - was only reading some commentary on this issue in Motor recently, the Yanks use the lead in (and obviously time 60mph) which is why their times usually seem better than 'ours'.

Either way I'd be claiming that 4.x regardless.

I'm pretty stoked with the result, still too much wheel spin & smoke for my liking...

If you managed a 12.81 with loads of wheelspin, then a 12.6 is surely achievable. A certain AMG does a 12.6 using AWD and amazing launch control...

Naturally, these timed runs were performed by a professional driver on a closed course under controlled conditions. Don't try this at home kids.
