Hello. I'm Dave, a newbie. Stuff about me:
1. My Polo is a 2011 model, delivered in December 2010. Manual, base model, rubber mats added later.
2. I joined VWWatercooled after reading positive comments in Whirlpool's Automotive forum.
3. Before the warranty expires late next year, I want to get the vehicle thoroughly checked out by a skilled VW mechanic, preferably not a dealer and definitely not the dealer where the car was purchased. I'd appreciate any advice on this.
4. I've lived in Perth since 1975, in Kingsley since 1979 (same house).

I can recommend Quattro Motors in Burswood, but sounds like you have 12 months befor yuo need to worry about that.

I'd also recommedn them to service your vehicle as well

Since you're in Kingsley I would also recommend Elite Euro (also known as Golfwagen) in Wangara. Joe is an ex-VW mechanic and knows the VW's backwards.

You just missed a local club event today, but the next one is the annual Day of the Volkswagen show on Sun 2nd Dec
