Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW Newbie: MK4 owner looking to do a few mods :)

hey everyone, im a 19 year old student from wollongong. i currently own a '02 mk4 golf automatic (yes i know its not manual). ive had the car for 6 months now. so far all ive done is install a 7" touchscreen (which isnt done properly but still works), and blue LED interior lights.
i really want to done some mods to the car and make it look better, not worried about performance. currently waiting for a sticker bomb set to cover the engine cover and maybe some interior trims. just purchased a few days ago 18' lenso type m wheels and tyres with very good tread for $370 all up, pretty good right . going to paint them as they do have a bit of gutter rash.

currently on holiday for the next 4 moths so i have lots of time to get modding. really looking forward to showing you guys every mod and also seeing what you guys have to offer aswell.
