Hello everyone I have been a reader of this forum for years when searching out information or tips etc.
Me wife and I each own a 2006 Jetta 2.0Tdi, mine has done most of the work as the country car, and it has now travelled over 160000km, with very few problems. The other car has done just over 80000 as it really is the town car.
We both work as real estate sales and also run holiday homes locally.

Hi Guys
I bought my TDI new with the bronze/gold paint and leather, chipped it within a few months and have had a very good run with it so far. We traded my old falcon for a 2 year old TDI in white a couple of years later, again a good car with really only EGR problem when first purchased, and none since in 40k km. My Jetta ran out of warranty for bodywork in October this year. I have been trying to get VAG Australia to fix the rust, they have admitted liability but won't pay for the full cost of the repair, after 5 months of being fobbed off my patience is getting very thin. Anyone have a suggestion?
The only other deterioration on the cars is faded headlights and corroded alloy wheels.
