Hello.

I bought a Golf.

It is an MY08 5dr GTI with DSG lottery ticket and testicle roasting dark leather seats.


This is not my first Golf. I have had one before a few years ago, also a GTI. So it is all very familiar to me except for the leather. I honestly am not yet a subscribed fan to the Mk5's polyvynil coated and vynil-mix "leather" seating. Perhaps I will warm up to it once summer is over, Ha ha ha.

Perhaps see you around. Mine is silver and hopefully you won't catch me driving like a twat or scratching my brain via a nostril.

Danke for the welcome. I am not much of a gathering type person these days but you never know.

What I think I will be on the hunt for is some new wheels to give the Mk5 a little bit of a face lift. They are starting to age a little bit in their appearance, not that Golfs age badly as far as styling is concerned.

You will find our gatherings are more of a social get together rahter than a "Harry's Diner" type event.

We also have happy laps so you can push the car a bit more than on the road.
