hi there ladies + gents..

just a quick hello and firstly, the bad thing...

i`m not a VW owner.. NOW!! i`m sure theres a lot of head shaking going on already but hear me out!!!

i found this site after following a link to a build thread of a car on here which quite simply is amazing, and after a browse around i found myself sat infront of my laptop nodding my head thinking, "damn, these boys aint messin around!"

so there ya have it.. despite not being a VW man i do find looking thru other marques forums very inspirational, jap.. ford.. VW everyone seems to bring new ideas to the car scene and that can only be good to learn from in my opinion......


anyhow, hello... and for anyone that gives a **** heres what i`m building... (sorry its not a VW)

I was thinking it was a MK2 golf too - but they're G40 polo wheels, and they look pretty similar from that angle

the car on the lift is indeed a mk2, but i think the wheels came off a OLD! 318? 316? bmw... escort cos in front of mine, and to the right (just in shot) a renault clio 182...
