Hi All,
I have been a long time Commodore driver but when I started looking for a new car recently I was thinking about something smaller. Naturally been a Holden fan my first car looked at was the Holden Cruze turbo. After test driving this model I was quite impressed with it and was thinking it may be the next car I buy.
I then got home and researched the Cruze and other cars in its price range. One car that kept coming up was the Polo GTI. After reading so much about how much of a great car it was I decided to go to my VW dealer (which coincidentally is also my Holden dealer!!) and have a look at and test the Polo. They did not have any GTI's available to test drive but I was able to take the comfortline for a drive and was very impressed with everything from ride quality to build quality.
After returning to the dealer I was shown a Golf GTI in the showroom and the dealer told me that on the inside I am looking at what I will be getting in the Polo GTI.
After looking at the stats and figures on the car I decided it was time to move away from my beloved Holdens and purchase the VW Polo GTI. I am so excited about my new car and can not wait for it to be delivered (late January is when I was told it will arrive).
So here I am, a converted Holden fan who though he would never drive anything else is now proudly awaiting his new mini-beast to arrive.
