new passat

Picked up my new Passat MY13 turbo diesel wagon 3 weeks ago. Was sceptical about the quoted fuel consumption figures of 5.5 L/100k combined, but it is achieving slightly better! If the computer is accurate I'm getting 4.8 - 5.3 L per 100k (fuel gauge seems to support that), about one third country driving, the rest suburbia, and I'm driving normally. As a long term Holden V6 driver, I'm impressed by the power of the 4 cyl turbo diesel too. Hard to find anything I don't like about this beautiful car. Looking forward to being part of this forum and hearing about other owners' experiences.
