Hi all, just thought I should introduce myself as I will probably be posting on here a fair bit, annoying you all with multiple questions. Am currently shopping for a mk5 gti, preferably manual. Just wondering if there are any pointers people can give me on things to be looking out for. My budget is for something under 20k, ideally around the 17k mark, so I'm looking at 05's or 06's, and nothing too astounding, but do plan on doing some basic engine upgrades i.e.exhaust, intake, tune, etc.
In terms of car history, I've gone from 90s falcons, to gtr skylines, to 60s mustangs, and currently have a 09 turbo forester, which I'm getting rid of it for the golf. Anyhoo, will be great to get to know all of you and apologies for the no doubt, myriad of questions I'm going to bombard you all with. Cheers!
