    Hi everyone,

Finally glad to be part of the Veedub club. Got myself a Tiggy last week. It's amazing what new cars have as features these days. Windows that can open and close from the remote

Does anyone know if the reverse camera on these things have the steering guidelines? It doesn't appear on mine even though the dealer promised it would and demoed it in a Passat CC to me. Even the manual shows it does, but maybe it's only for overseas models?

I had it dealer installed as an aftermarket accessory as it wasn't available as a factory option at that time. Only the MY12.5 and after had it

Can anyone with a Tiggy confirm whether the steering guidelines appear in the factory install?

    Cheers

Yes. Mine was factory installed and the guidelines do move with the steering.

Not sure how useful it is though in actual use. It's very useful if the camera system does a birds eye view of the car like on the BMW X5 system (originally developed by Alpine for BMW) but now available on even a Nissan x trail.

Cheers DH, now you got me jealous of the BMW X5!

I have driven a friends' X5 turbocharged 3.0l petrol version. I think the Tiguan loses out a bit in space but it feels just as zippy.
