Okay, it's time I fessed up. I've been lurking around here soaking up some info. I've owned many Golfs and still have a huge soft spot for my first, a 2 door MkI. Now I have a MkVI 118TSI. These new things are very competent cars but a fair bit porkier than the original 830kg.
I've only had mine for 8 days but have already racked up 2,00km - I picked it up near Noosa and drove back to Melbourne.
In the last few days I've had an APR stage I tune and added some 18x8 wheels. Much quicker than standard now.
