  • 2008 R36 60k service cost

    Hi all,

Ive just had my service done today which included Haldex filter and oil and total was about $1600!!

To be honest I quite trust my service centre ( it wasn't Solitaire), labour was probably reasonable around $500.

$103 for a set of wiper blades is ridiculous
$244 for haldex oil and filter!
$260 for DSG ATF Oil?? You're kidding me
$190 for high performance spark plugs - I know they are expensive but $190??
    $35 Airfilter
    $44.50 Cabin filter
    etc etc
Anyway having now looked online for some of these parts prices I feel ripped off.
Should I have purchased these items on line and delivered them to the service centre, and going forward, as my pads will be due for replacement should I do the same?
Is ESC tuning the best source for parts for my R36?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, he did mention around $1400, but then also had to do the Haldex.

So thats fine, its just now that Ive looked more carefully at the invoice I cant believe the price of the parts, i know they are expensive, I had an Audi TT before this car...BUT when I see online DSG Oil at $21 a litre and I payed $258 ( Im assuming 6-7 litres?) thats double

I reckon most parts could have been sourced for half what I paid ( $1100 in parts)
