WA A Whinge - Current WA Members

I have heard in the past that we tend not to get a huge turnout to events being organised.

Over the last few months we've had a lot of WA newbies sign up to the forum, and its very rare that more than one existing member actually makes them feel welcome.

Can I suggest that if you want the local communitiy to be a bit bigger, a bit active and our functions to be better attended, then say hello to the new members, make them feel a bit welcome and perhaps our WA community and events may start to grow a bit?

Hmm, yeh it seems like you & I are the unofficial welcoming committee (and I certainly don't see every WA newbie either!)
same as Luke & I are the only ones who organise events.
Hopefully Day of the Volkswagen in December will get a few members out of the woodwork. We've actually got quite a strong WA member base it's just a case of who participates and who is a lurker.
