NSW 2013 Volkswagen CC - Interior

Hi Everyone,

New to the site. Have been driving a 2007 Passat V6 for the past few years and have recently purchased and waiting on the delivery of the new VW CC TDI.

Due to various options I had included unfortunately my new car is not due for delivery until mid to late Feb 2013. This is kinda frustrating to say the least however I figured its worth the wait.

One of the reservations I had in purchasing the new CC was that although VW made a few changes, the interior is pretty much the same/very similar to the previous model passat that im currently driving. Due to this and in the bid to create a few addtional points of difference, I decided to opt for the desert beige interior instead of the black. However I havent actually seen the beige interior in person and made the decision purely on images found on-line. It is actually a two tone interior with prodominantly beige but also black leather.

I am wondering if anyone has seen this beige interior on the new cc in person and can tell me if whether or not the leather seats are actually perferated?

I know the standard black leather is not perferated as all of the showroom cars I have seen have had the black in them. However almost every image of the beige that I have come across seems to have perferations. I am not sure if I am seeing the previous or overseas model beige interior which my differ to the spec we are getting in Australia.

Any feedback will be great.

The perforated seats should only be on cars fitted with ventilated seats which is an option. If you didn't choose it then they won't be perforated.

Thanks Volkswagen, I think you maybe right as I had read that the vetelated seats were perferated. However you are only able to get the ventilated/climate control seat in the black leather so this still raises a bit of a question as to why I can only find photos of the perferated beige leather and none of non perferated.

Perhaps someone that owns the previous Passat CC with beige leather can shed some light on this as I think they are the same seats.

My 2011 Passat has beige and are not perforated but are only heated seats.

I didnt buy a CC because at my age I got into it OK but then due to the very low seats had trouble getting tired old body out again LOL

If you saw beige ventilated then its probably a us or European market car. Certain areas get different things ie usdm didnt have dcc on their old cc and audm didnt get a manual cc or a 5 seat version (which ive seen in vienna) as well as a manual diesel..

Hi Everyone,

Firstly thanks to all of you who took the time to respond to my question.

I am pleased to say that I received my brand spanking new 2013 CC last week (one month ahead of the expected delivery date!!) and I am blown away. Coming from a 2007 Passat V6 3.2 FSI, I must say the 2.0 Turbo diesel leaves nothing else to be desired... Its early days yet, however Im thinking I will find it pretty hard to go back to a petrol engine after this one.

The optional technology (Driver assistance package) and Dynoaudio are great too. Im thinking I could have definitiely done without the tilting only sunroof however its nice too.

Also I can now confirm that the two tone desert beige/Black seats are not perforated as some of you suggested, which to me is an additional plus. As expected the only thing left now is to figure out the best way and products to keep it clean whilst maintaining the new car smell
