Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    hi guys

    im from south africa and enjoy reading about the love for old vw in aus.

    im busy trying to make a unique mk1 two door (which are very rare here) but parts are very expensive and hard to come by so it's taking longer then i thought..

    chrome bumpers

    can any one on here give me the full dimensions for the chrome bumpers, im trying my hand at making my own seen as the cost like 4 times more expensive then the plastic bumpers.
