Hey guys,
I'm from Adelaide have bought a mk3 1.8l GL as a first car and a bit of a project car. Has a cracked head at the moment, the paint is faded at some parts that I need to fix up, has been reversed into things (all before I had it) so the paint has been cracked off at some points :/
I found this forum on Google from trying to find new bumper, found the perfect thread but need ten posts before I can use classfields..
Anyway, this forum looks fair mad

Yeah, only bought the car for $1000 and have about $1000 left over for coilovers and all that fun stuff
Going to do the airbox mod when you take a section of the bottom out, keen to do these
Still working out what other mods to do in terms of power though

I'm also painting my wheels white soon, here is a photo of my golf as is, you can't really see the damage on it in the picture, (That's why I uploaded this one )

Oh, thanks haha, I'm really new to my Golf's and the chick who sold it to me said it was a 1.8L.. that's embarising thanks for telling me! 2.0 L.. No wonder why it went so hard before it started overheating!
Head's almost off too, keening up to fix it up then actually drive it for more then 30 mins hahaha.
