  • QLD New tiguan owner

    Hi everyone,

I'm Adam, and I hope to pick up my brand new MY13 103 tdi tomorrow.
It's candy white, with aftermarket black leather upholstery, comfort pack, legal tint, auto Dsg, with a tow ball fitted.
I'd have liked the off-road kit, but it didn't seem to be available anywhere.

I've got carpet floor mats already delivered from tracks formations, a rubber boot liner from booter ( which I discovered whilst leeching on this forum) and a tailgate trim, and scuff plates from chrome my car.

My vehicle will arrive with the factory standard stereo, which I am contemplating upgrading to the rns510 or equivalent. I'll be sending out some messages on this topic soon! If any sponsors read this, feel free to contact me...
I have also read the posts about improving the headlights, as my Tigi doesn't come with fogs.

I am hoping to take her on the beach, maybe at noose north shore- I thing the beach access might be a bit tough at Bribie island. I was bummed that we can't get the 27 degree approach angle front end in Australia. I'd like to hear any (success) stories about beach driving!

I researches the Tigi pretty thoroughly before purchase, and hope it will fulfil my car needs. I'm not very mechanically minded (but I know where the petrol- oops, diesel, goes). I've previously owned a forester and am currently driving a Mazda sp23, until I can sell it.

    Cheers,
    Adam

Hi Adam - did you take your Tiguan on Bribie beach? I recently bought a Yeti and would like to do the same. Cheers, Sean

            Congrats

            Hello
I have just joined the form as I'm now looking at ordering a new Tiguan.
It looks as though I will have to wait for delivery till about February / March 2014.
Dealer did a search and not many vehicles available with the specs I want.

Enjoy and look forward to reading all about the Tiguan.

            Cheers
            Mellow
