Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

      thanks Gareth!

2006 Polo GTI 9n3 - in "black magic" haha
i picked it up on wednesday and have been keen to work on it all week - today i sprayed the badges black & worked on taking out the ECU for a flash. I'm going to try the custom-code tune, even though located in QLD.

they are staggered 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears and might be too wide for the Polo, you will need to do some research.

No tyres, but comes complete with 5mm spacers and extended bolts

Nice one! They're massive fun when tuned, so light and quick. I sold mine to a yard in Vic Park in May this year and it was the same spec as the one you've got.. Doubt it's the same one?

Even though my new car is a lot more powerful, the Polo was an equally exciting car to drive and flick around.. Plus the Polo forum has a wealth of knowledge on the potential of these things.

              Enjoy!
