  • MK5 GTI ..STAGE one to STAGE 3 Journey APR?

    Hey Guys,

So im new to this. Just purchased a MK5 GTI couple months back. got some exterior work done to it. now im ready for performance. thinking about starting with stage 1 from APR. has anyone got this done?

how were the results? what extra kw did you get from it?

im thinking about taking to bwa auto in seven hills.

few people have recommened me to go there.

    anyone with suggestions.

my aim is to have it running at 260kw at the end of the project

I hope you don't mean 260kw ATW, because you're going to need to know a tire dealer.

Start with the exhaust and tune. Don't do it all at once.

You'll get use to the additional power over time, so I think it was good to gradually do different upgrades.

Just go on the APR Australia website for all the power info.

APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW Porsche and Skoda Vehicles.

I started with exhaust and tune, then fuel pump, then turbo and intercooler. I only went with the K04 turbo. That's enough for me.

Your also going to need to deal with the clutch and diff and possibly brakes and suspension.

My advice is start small and do it gradually, if not for your wallets sake, just to feel the progression through the mods.

consider other tunes as well as APR - they are reportedly good, but they are expensive.
Other methods, like custom code, are less expensive with similar end result.
