Back in a Golf after 25 years of driving Landcruisers. First car was a 72 or 76 Golf ? (too long ago) which I put on Bilstein suspension and a full body kit from Germany, and twin headlight kit. It was bright orange, looked hot and handled awsome, I'll find a photo of it if I can. New ride is an '06 R32 which I bought as a fill in car between Landcruisers but now thinking I'll stick with it as it's so much fun to drive an not worry about another cruiser.

    Cheers,
    Damo

vw vs landcruiser? wow big differences...

after riding so high up, you must feel like you are in a go-kart each time you drive now??

      Thanks Tigger,
The R32 definitely feels like a go cart. Although the cruiser was 7" higher than standard, it still handled well. My mate was Peter Brock's suspension engineer so we worked it over a bit and put some pretty trick shocks on it to keep it nice and level while cornering, but still a plush ride.
