Hi, my name's ARM, I'm from the Camden area NSW, I'm 40, married and have 3 kids.
I'm a tradie of 24 years who also dabbles in a bit a web designing/maintaining.
As of yesterday, I have become the proud new driver of a MY12.5 Amarok Highline Auto.
Since I saw the first photo of the Search & Rescue concept years ago, I've always thought this thing looked tough!
About a week ago, My previous ute (07 Hilux) was almost out of lease and I was allowed to look at upgrading, another Hilux was never an option, it was a great car but I have kids and the centre lap only rear seat belt was a deal breaker. The Ranger looked pretty good with it's included features & prices, but they're having big supply problems.
Last Tuesday, I went to my local VW dealer, they had a Highline Auto White in-stock (Silver would of been nice but I hear that they're hard to get too!) took the demo model, another Highline Auto, for a spin .... loved it.
Did the wheeling and dealing thing, got a good trade in price on the Hilux, and I picked it up yesterday, a few little niggles in the process, but overall, very happy.
