Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA Another new Polo GTI owner

    Hey guys, just slapped down an order for a shiny white MY13 Polo GTI this morning. Looking forward to sucking up every bit of knowledge I can from this site while I wait the 6 months for delivery

    On a side note, anyone in perth want to buy a 2007 Mondeo XR5?

    Is your car one of those that DVG Melville have been advertising for a few weeks? I fell for the trap of thinking they were actually in stock...

      Just think of all the things you can buy for the Polo in that 6month wait. Plenty time to research and brainstorm! ;D

        Haha almost, it was very close. I almost grabbed one that was "coming in two weeks" but the horrific lowball on the trade in made me decide to sell private and go elsewhere. Went back to vic park and dropped a deposit down. Paid 1500 less for it too.

          The amount of easy mods available is terrifying... I promised the wife I would try and keep this car unmodified but I'm already saving some dollars on the sly

          Cool forums here too, I think I've absorbed the first 4 pages in the 6r section
