Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi guys,
I'm getting a little 77TSI manual in a couple of weeks on the runout deal.Would have liked 118 but budget wouldn't stretch that far.
Will replace the steel wheels ASAP so looking to find some secondhand rims and tyres in few weeks.

Just keep in mind that your stud pattern will be 5x100.

Most of the guys on the forum here will have 5x112's ( as they have golfs, jetta's, etc.. anything bigger than a polo).

I guess the best place for u to find something would be on the classified section of this forum.

Very low probability of someone who is selling wheels; to come across and see this post.

All the best with the purchase mate

Hopefully see u at the next few qld meets

If they were looking at upgrading to a 118 but settled on a 77 then they probably has a golf.

Hope to see the car out to some of our meets though.

Yeah,Sorry. It's a golf. The "little" comment was more to do with it the engine size, not the car...
