    New VW Jetta 147TSI Owner in WA

    Hi there,

    stumbled across this forum whilst researching on V-DUB Vehicles.

    Have purchased a 2011 Jetta 147TSI Highline and can't wait to pick her up over the weekend from the Dealers.

    Being relatively new to the DAS AUTO realm, I hope my stint with this forum would be a pleasant one!

    Hope to have a few decent mods down the line (nothing crazy tho) and hope the 'Jetta' sub-category reamins active!

      Lol...

      I think I saw your car last night.. were you passing through East Perth?

      Heard the all too familiar DSG changeover at both sets of lights..

      Have been hoping for a GTI for a long time but due to personal commitments (and more space), settled for a Jetta!

        Nope!
        Mine is a manual.

        I really like the Jetta's, definitely not 'settling'.... just need it lowered abit and some 18's and it'll look mint.

          Btw, may I ask where you purchased your Bluefin tune locally ? (ie Ramp Auto Group)

            Yup, Ramp Auto is where I got mine. There was abit of a wait because I think they didnt have any units in stock, but apart from that, they seemed like a good bunch.

              Yup you are true to that, already gave em a call and they were waiting for another shipment to come in.

              Dont know when they will arrive and am waiting for a email response from Adrian.

                why would you want to do that?

                  Since you asked... so that my drive to/fro work will be more appreciative!..hahahaa

                  Still got that hype in me - had a pretty done up Honda CTR but the time came for me to move on..lol

                            2nd hand in great condition and well spec'ed. Had to travel South of Perth to find this rare gem imo.

                            Was a big Honda fan, had a 07 Honda CTR (FN2) and required an upgrade to at least 4 doors due to personal reasons. Was considering the current Mazda 3 MPS/Golf GTI/Passat but decided on this Jetta in the end.

                              Spot on buddy! As soon as you said 'CTR' it clicked I think I saw you and one of the guys up at Bob Janes VP in the Van a couple of months ago too, someone had a damaged wheel.
