Hi!

Looking to get a GTI Mark V in the very near future so I thought I'd join the community. Aiming for a 2007/2008 Mark V. Here's my first newbie question.. Is there much of a difference between the years for the Mark V series?

I believe there was a MFD/canbus upgrade somewhere in the Mk5 series (i believe it was in the 08 year?) so you may only get a half height MFD and less functionality (also may get battery drain if you retrofit a satnav unit.)
