I'm Dean from Sydney, new to this forum, currently got a 2006 2.0FSI MKV Golf, with the dreaded old revision F Canbus Gateway and an RCD-300, and have came across this forum multiple times during my adventure to making a decision on which method i will chose to upgrade, being 2nd gen units(RCD-310/510), RCD-500 or go for an aftermarket unit.

Hope i can gain some more valuable information and can share some new information regarding this project with you guys!
