Hey mate, I'm from Brisbane metro area.

I saw a thread somewhere that there's a Euro meetup tonight, so was thinking about heading to that but at the moment I don't know anybody on the forum. I'm currently driving an E36 BMW, so if I don't pickup the Golf tonight maybe I can just bring that along. It's a little embarrassing though because it's not in the best condition and it's too loud haha! The previous owner fitted a stupid cannon exhaust on it and I haven't bothered to take it off cos I wanted to put that money towards a Golf.

We have a couple of e30/36's that normally rock up.

It's always good to get out and meet more of hte VAG family in Brisbane as everyone is really friendly.

Hi Remy - glad to hear you will be down for the meet. I am a new member here as well and will be coming to my first meet in Brisbane/Queensland/Australia!

Mate of mine from back 'home' in the UK used to have a e30 M3 in Macau blue (think it was an Evo) - beautiful car. Look forward to saying hi and seeing the car (either the e36 or the Golf!)

Not unusual to hear noises from behind the dash.

If I make it in my Silver S3, come and find me and I'll scan it with vcds for you.

Keep an eye on the events section of the forum as it has all the details.
Ended up with about 30 or so cars this time.

Ah damn, I only saw this post just now. Was too busy picking the car up from north side and then trying to rush back to Coorparoo for the pre-meet so I didn't get a chance to check the forum. Oh well, always next time I'll just turn the radio up in the meantime hehe!
