G'day everyone, just bought an 06 Golf GTI and found a lot of useful info here and given our family history with VWs it might be time to join a forum! Here's some pics of the new beast.
Just spend today polishing and waxing it, previous owner had not treated the paint well but otherwise it is in excellent condition. As for mods I'm thinking of an ANS-810 and maybe chip it in the future but nothing drastic. Right now I'm very happy with it as it is!
We also have a Passat wagon as the family car (2 girls 3 and 2 y/o), wife loves it and it's a nice relaxing drive for long trips!
