Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • WA MKIV Golf R32

    Hey all,

Just purchased another forum members MKIV Golf R32 (There's a VWW sticker on the rear windscreen of the car)

I first started noticing R32's when I had an an R32 Skyline GTR and thinking what the hell it was. Since selling my GTR last year I have been driving a '79 Escort RS2000, however, I moved to Melbourne earlier this year for 2 months (no working going!) and when I got back to Perth I forgot about the license until it was too late. Now it's for sale unlicensed and I have this R32 as my main car

A friend of mine is also into VW's, Kombi's and she has a 1960 Beetle.

Nice car man!! I was with Nik that day when he bought it.

It was random, I called Nik and said, lets go and drive the R32, see how it is and stuff. And he bought it that night. Weird.... hahahaha

Love that car. I will miss it as well.

Good luck with it. See you at the next cruise.
