TAS New Tig

Hullo all, and good to be here,

We have just upgraded from a 2004 Golf to a brand new 103 TDI Tig. what a machine!!! We are having a few teething issues which brings me here after a google search

What kind of teething issues?

1) The deadlock message which appears in the information display just before shut down,
2) Can't get an ipod nano to interface with the radio

Well I can't help you with the dead lock issue. I know I had a dud MDI iPod lead which would charge but not recognise my iPod, I bought a new lead and problem solved

This is very helpful.
Apparently the "deadlock" message signifies that with one click of the lock button the deadlock will be engaged.

The dud ipod lead sounds like a common problem. I am going to hook up my **** smith generic MP3 player and see if a similar problem occurs.
