Hi all, the names Phillip.
Im 17 and from Victoria and managed to get my hands on a 97 mk3 GL 2.slow as my first car
been on a few other forums and everyone recommends watercooled so i thought i might give it a try.
Over the past few months of owning my car I've done a few mods and looking to do some more but as the P plate laws in Victoria are a bit, for the lack of a better word, S$%T haha I dont have too many performance options so making her look nice is the first step.
So far ive gotten some nice wheels, lowered on pedders lowered springs with koni shocks on the way and a little sound system. replacing the brakes, ignition and clutch to get ready for when i have my P's next month.
Only problem at my age is that all the other kids have commondoors or falcons so i'm going to have to try and build up the vw rep in my group haha.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has to say about different subjects and learning what i can
