Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • First post on VWwatercooled

    Hi everyone,

this is my first post on this forum so i guess my track record goes something like this...

My first car was a Vw Golf Mk5 Tdi, in which over a year i modified with the following features
    -Plates
    -20% tint
    -K Mac Lowering Springs
    -Enkei 18's
    -Led Exterior Lights
    -Sony Xav-70bt
-Twin Fusion Performance Series Subwoofers and Performance Series Speakers
Plus a few extra bits and pieces... heres a few pics

However i have now moved on and currently drive a MK4 golf R32, and am turning to the forums for some modification advice

Nice choice and welcome aboard Any particular reason you decided to jump back to a MKIV rather than a MKV R32? Not that I wouldn't though.. I love my MKIV

thanks mate, the reason i choose the mk4 over the mk5 r32 is because i love the fact that there are only 250 in aus and its aggressive body lines
