Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Huge Golf Fan, from NSW --> Melbourne, Bacchus MArsh / Richmond

    Hi fellow dubbers,

    I own a 2011 Golf TDI and my wife owns a 2002 1.6 golf.

    In Sydney, we used to love using Heilo at Central Autohaus in Alexandria, but now need somebody we can trust in Melbourne...

    I get the 2011 serviced where I bought it (Essendon VW) , but there is no way I'd take the 2002 golf there. It would cost more than the car is worth to get it serviced there!

    Volkspower looks good but it's a bit far - we live in Bacchus MArsh and work in Richmond...

    Any reccomendations, west side or near city?

    Gday mate,

    Id try German Auto Haus in Richmond. Have heard plenty of good things about them and they are a good bunch of guys.
