First post - Names Ash, male, 26. From Morningside in Brisbane. Have recently, in the last month, gotten my feet into a car I have wanted for years. A Mk V R32 - its a deep blue pearle, 5 door, DSG with the only other option being a sunroof.

Obviously I have a wish list as long as my arm. But am taking the time to enjoy the car. Have only managed a couple mods so far - a stubby ariel and the flapper exhaust mod. Looking forward to getting to a few events and getting ideas/advice from you guys.

def come to the Euro meet on Friday night if possible. i think there is a total of 6No. R32's there that night, including mine (record from what i hear) ranging from mk4's to mk5's. heaps of stuff you can learn about your car, and it's good that your enjoying it for what it is before you start modding. that's what i did, and i've appreciated it so much more.

Yeah definitely want to check out some other Mk5's to get an idea of what I should tackle first.
